Remedies for Dry Skin

Dry skin is a common problem during winter time. Dry skin can lead to early aging and wrinkles. That's why you need to take good care of dry skin by applying moisturizers regularly.


Aloe Vera gel
Take some Aloe Vera gel and apply it over your face for about 30 minutes. This will have amazing affects on your skin. Your skin will look soft and vibrant even during winter season.

Olive Oil
Olive oil can soothe and condition dry skin all over your body. Take equal amounts of olive oil and brown sugar. Make a mixture and rub this homemade scrub on your dry skin in circular motions for a few minutes. Take a shower and then apply a light moisturizer.

Egg yolk paste
Make a face pack with egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of milk powder. Mix the ingredients well and apply it over your face evenly. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash with simple tap water.

Honey
Honey is considered one of the best natural moisturizers, it makes skin soft and smooth. Plus, honey has many essential vitamins and minerals that help improve your skin’s health. Before taking shower, rub honey all over your body and leave it on for five to 10 minutes. Repeat daily to enjoy well-moisturized skin.

Almond paste
Soak some almonds overnight. Peel the skin of the almonds and grind it to make a fine paste.  Add raw milk to this paste, two teaspoon of lemon juice as well as gram flour. Now, you need to apply this wonderful pack on your face and neck. Leave it for a period of 20 minutes and wash it away with luke warm water. Along with providing wonderful remedy for dry skin, this is also really effective in improving the skin tone.

Oatmeal face pack
Oatmeal is good for removing dirt from your skin. You can use this pack on your face in winter to clean your skin pores. Mix a pinch of turmeric in ½ cup of oatmeal and a few drops of lemon juice. Blend into a thick paste and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Yogurt
Yogurt is an excellent skin-hydrating agent. Apply fresh yogurt on your hands, face and legs. Gently massage it into your skin. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then take a bath or shower. The mild exfoliating action of yogurt will remove dry skin and leave your skin refreshed. Do this once daily.
